Learning to come to terms with the world around you is tough enough as it is. Compound that with being in middle school, and you’re just in for a world of hurt. And this is the premise behind “That’s What I Am,” a coming-of-age story that follows 12-year-old Andy, a student who will do anything to avoid conflict for fear of suffering overwhelming ridicule and punishment from his junior high school peers.
