Ingenuity must be at a premium these days because, with “Evil Things,” we yet again have another “Paranormal Activity”-style movie trying to startle us into paying to see it. Good luck with that. Anyways, “Evil Things” is the story about how, on Jan. 9, 2009, five college students left New York City for a weekend in the country. Forty-eight hours later, all five students simply vanished without a trace. There were no leads and no evidence … until now.
