It seems the more a couple wants a child, the less chance they have of actually having it. It’s led people to do some weird things, such as in “The Odd Life of Timothy Green,” where a childless couple, unable to conceive, buries all their wishes for a baby in a box in their backyard and one day wake up to find that a child is born. However, the child is not all that it appears.
