In “Father of Invention,” Robert Axel (Kevin Spacey), an eccentric inventor who through wealth and fame, finds unexpected misfortune and after many hardships is ready to redeem his name and rebuild his billion dollar empire. And after seeing him play the jerk boss in “Horrible Bosses,” I can’t help but think this is karmic payback.
