According to ClevverTV: “Today’s report surrounds the business and fan side of the Twilight Saga as we’re being witness to Twilight versus Twilight. That’s right, Summit Entertainment is reportedly suing the website, Twilight.com. According to the story by The Hollywood Reporter, the production company claims that the website has been using the studio’s official and copyrighted material in Banners and linking up to unauthorized contests and fake casting calls. That being said, apparently many of those links appear at the bottom of the site pages and a provided by Google Adsense, and thus, not determined by Twilight.com’s owner. Also in the claim, Summit doesn’t want fans to become confused or deceived into believing that it is the official website and directly associated with the Saga. As far as when the site started, THR reports that it went up to 2004, before the film franchise began.”
