The results are in, and “The Lion King 3-D” surprised everybody by earning more than the weekend’s three new releases in total. “Drive” did well with arthouse fans, but failed to make a mark on the mainstream. “Straw Dogs” (2011) and “I Don’t Know How She Does It” failed to gain any traction whatsoever.
