Wednesday
LET’S BE COPS (R): Two losers dress up as cops for a costume party and decide to keep pretending when they become neighborhood heroes. Presumably hilarity ensues, athough this film won’t be screened for critics so there’s potential for a real crime here.

Friday
THE EXPENDABLES 3 (R): Sylvester Stallone and his band of old guys take on an arms dealer (Mel Gibson), blow stuff up and make Jason Statham look young.
WHAT IF (PG-13): A med school dropout (Daniel Radcliffe) falls for an animator (Zoe Kazan) who already has a boyfriend (Rafe Spall). Can they be friends? Harry and Sally could warn them what they’re in for, but they’re grandparents now.
THE GIVER (PG-13): In what seems to be a perfect community, a young man (Brenton Thwaites) is chosen to learn about real pain and pleasure. Based on the young adult book by Lois Lowry.
A LONG WAY DOWN (R): Four people (Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette, Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots) meet on New Year’s Eve and form a surrogate family. Based on the novel by Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, About a Boy).
CALVARY (R): An Irish priest (Brendan Gleeson) is threatened in the confessional and must come to grips with questions of faith, responsibility and death.
