‘Concursion’ demo now live on Steam
“Concursion” developers Puuba and independent publishing studio Mastertronic announced a new demo and trailer.
You can get a taste of “Concursion” for free with the game’s demo on Steam. You start where most platformers finish -at the bad guy’s castle — and run, jump, fly, fight and occasionally dance through the kingdom on your quest to unearth the truth behind these rifts and put a stop to Darklord Biganbad, once and for all.

‘Champions Online — Steel Crusade’ coming Sept. 4
Perfect World Entertainment announced a update for “Champions Online – Steel Crusade” coming Sept. 4, 2014. In the new content update, players will find Millennium City under attack by Mechanon, a robot supervillain determined to eradicate all organic life. It’s up to the players to explore new areas, investigate Mechanon’s nanorobot virus and take the fight to Mechanon’s orbital satellite.
With the Mechanon storyline, Steel Crusade will include three new instances: the new United Nations Tribunal on International Law (UNTIL) Space Station mission hub, and a Reawakened Automaton Archetype.

Daedalic Entertainment announces a new teaser for “Blackguards 2.”
“Blackguards 2,” which just like the first game is based on the ruleset of The Dark Eye Pen & Paper RPG, will offer players a further improved implementation of the Dark Eye rules and a more comprehensible character generator – but also larger and more demanding battle maps, more interactive items as well as new enemy classes and many new mission, which will require the players’ whole strategic skills.

Obsidian to partner with Paizo Inc. to release electronic Pathfinder games
Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of “Fallout: New Vegas,” “South Park: the Stick of Truth” and the Kickstarter phenomenon “Pillars of Eternity,” announced that it has entered into a long-term licensing partnership with Paizo Inc. to produce electronic games based on its popular Pathfinder Roleplaying Game intellectual property
Obsidian’s first licensed product will be a tablet game based on the highly successful Pathfinder Adventure Card game, a cooperative game for 1-4 players. Players each have a unique character composed of a deck of cards and a set of stats. Characters have classes such as fighter, rogue, wizard and cleric, as well as numbers that define attributes such as strength, wisdom and charisma etc. Players will be able to customize their deck to better suit each individual’s vision of their character.

Daedalic’s first teaser for ‘Fire’ introduces main character Ungh
Daedalic Entertainment, the publisher of “Fire,” announces a teaser introducing the slightly clumsy Neanderthal named Ungh, who lives in a quaintly colorful Stone Age world.
“Fire,” an exploration adventure, is about intuitive game design and tells its story without words. Players will have to master the trickiest task of the Stone Age: finding new fire.
It is up to the players to explore the primitive world of FIRE and to solve all puzzles in the most creative ways. Always helpful are the quirky creatures of this unique Stone Age setting: Why not using a mammoth and its trunk to shoot a coconut? No matter if mammoths, bats or dinosaurs – FIRE’s colourful Stone Age world is inhabited by all kinds of useful and entertaining wildlife.
“Fire” will be released in Q4 2014 for PC and Mac.

‘In Space We Brawl’ announced For PlayStation platforms
Independent developer Forge Reply announced that “In Space We Brawl” will be coming exclusively to the Sony PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
“In Space We Brawl” features a local multiplayer setting with the gameplay mechanics of a fast paced space shooter. Players can select a ship and a weapon choosing among 100-plus different combinations, looking for the best mix for their combat style. When battling in one of the eight different locations, they will also face environmental space hazards such as solar winds, black holes and alien nests that they must carefully navigate or use to their advantage when fighting against other players.
