Opening Friday
Dumb and Dumber To (PG-13): Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reunite for this sequel to their low, lowbrow cult comedy hit. No, that is not a typo in the title. It’s a clue of what you’re in store for.

Rosewater (R): Jon Stewart takes a break from his “Daily Show” hosting duties to write and direct this fact-based drama about a Tehran-born journalist (Gael Garcia Bernal) who spent 118 days in captivity being tortured and lived to tell about it.

Beyond the Lights (PG-13): A talented musician (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) on the brink of stardom struggles with the baggage of fame and success.
