Opening Friday
Maps to the Stars (R): David Cronenberg directs this scathing, unsettling satire of Hollywood celebrity culture, starring Julianne Moore as an aging actress desperate for a comeback and Mia Wasikowska as the peculiar young woman who becomes her assistant.
Focus (R): Will Smith stars as a master con artist who meets his match in the form of a young newcomer (Margot Robbie) to the shell game.
The Lazarus Effect (PG-13): A trio of university researchers discover a way to bring the dead back to like. Then they find out resurrecting a corpse is always a bad idea.
Red Army (PG): This documentary tells the story of the Soviet Union’s famed hockey team.
