“Furious 7” (PG-13): The seventh installment in the popular franchise pits a vengeful Jason Statham against our gang of pedal-to-the-metal heroes (including Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michele Rodriguez and the late Paul Walker).

“Effie Gray” (PG-13): Emma Thompson wrote and co-stars in this fact-based drama about the marriage between Victorian-era art critic John Ruskin (Greg Wise) and his teenage bride (Dakota Fanning).

“The Hunting Ground” (PG-13): The latest documentary by Kirby Dick (“Outrage,” “The Invisible War”) investigates the large number of rape cases on college campuses that are covered up by the institutions and left unreported to authorities.
