Some believe fate has a plan for us all. What I doubt they believe is that magical beings capable of some version of time-travel and time-stopping antics running around the world altering the course of their lives. However, that is the premise of “The Adjustment Bureau,” starring Matt Damon. Damon’s character, running for U.S. Senate, runs into a mysterious girl who changes the path he is supposed to follow. What does follow is some “Inception”-based dream-like trip through reality. It looks interesting, and the short story it was based on, “Adjustment Team” by Philip K. Dick, was a good read, so here’s to hoping.
“The Adjustment Bureau” will hit theaters Friday, March 4. It is rated PG-13 and runs 105 minutes.
