Opening Friday:

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” (PG-13): The Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) takes on the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) in this eagerly-awaited superhero extravaganza that will also introduce other famous DC Comics characters, including Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and the Flash (Ezra Miller).

“My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” (PG-13): Nearly 15 years after surviving her own tumultuous nuptial ceremony, Nia Vardalos returns for another, even Greek-ier wedding.

“The Clan” (R): Director Pablo Trapero’s chilling, stylish crime drama, based on real events, centers on a man (Guillermo Francela) who forced his wife and kids to participate in a series of kidnappings and murders in 1980s Argentina.

Home video:

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” (DVD/Blu-ray): The saga of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) comes to a surprisingly dark and grim conclusion.

“Daddy’s Home” (DVD/Blu-ray): Will Ferrell and Mark Walhberg compete to see who can be the best, most popular father in the surprise box office hit.

“Undertow” (Blu-ray): Director David Gordon Green’s underrated 2004 thriller, about two brothers (Jamie Bell and Devon Alan) who clash with their murderous uncle (Josh Lucas), makes its high-def debut.
